Heparin-induced platelet aggregation was observed in some patients receiving antiplatelet therapy. To date, no molecular alterations in platelet proteins are known. It was hypothesized that platelets may aggregate through specific interaction between heparin and platelet membrane proteins. The present study aimed at identifying such proteins. Plasma from patients undergoing heparin-induced platelet aggregation was separated by SDS-PAGE, and plasma from normal subjects was used as a control. After blotting, the proteins were probed using monoclonal antibodies against platelet membrane glycoproteins. Heparin-induced platelet aggregation was observed in five patients. One of them exhibited a band of IgG/IgM and alpha-granular proteins in platelet lysates. The molecular weight of the detected protein ranged between 14,000 and 180,000.Q:
jQuery Ajax request handling returns incorrect value
I am trying to handle the error response from an ajax request, but in an odd way. In Firefox, all I need is to handle the error response with the following:

But, in Chrome, I need to throw the error response at the top of the function like so:

Now, when I run the second example, I get 'Unable to access your account' as the error message, instead of the actual response text.
